Chili -
Older dogs are awesome!!!
I would like to introduce you to an incredible girl. Her name is Chili and
we are told she is 11 years old....now, we don't REALLY think she could
possibly be that old as she acts younger and more playful than some of
the pups. Chili's owner died and that left her and her best friend, a great
dane, at the property all alone. The family called us for help and we could
not say no to this sweetie!...click here to

Cocoa
Cocoa is under two years of age and was found abandoned at a golf course. After a couple of weeks of wandering, a nice golfer took her in and contacted PARR for assistance. Cocoa has gotten along good with the two other dogs in her temporary home and is just a real love!

It is very graphic, so be prepared. The End
Todd - Adopted!
Todd is such a handsome and loving Rottie. He is in kennel # 61 at the Prescott Animal Control. Todd is easy going, likes to go for walks or just be loved on. Todd is a little hand shy because somebody was rough with the kiddo so he would like a gentle Pet Parent this time who will treat him kindly and love him for the sweetie that he is and not expect Todd to act macho, he is a lover not a fighter.
Hans - Adopted!
Hans is a young purebred Rottweiler. He was picked up as a stray by Chino Valley Animal Control. Hans was VERY shy and timid and the AC officer (Karen) wanted to work with him before allowing him to be adopted. He has come a long way but is still unsure of who he can trust. He needs to be adopted by someone who will take the time to work with him and assure him of their love.
Daisy - Adopted! Jeff
Davis County (TX) - Humane Society
She just adores people and would make a great city house dog. She's housebroken,
will adoringly lay at your feet, loves to cuddle and is obedient in a home
environment. She'd be a great only pet (or with one other similar sized dog
would be fine), inside and walked on a leash outside or occasionally put in
a yard with a dog-proofed fence.
Jasmine - Adopted!
She is a very sweet, elderly (8 or so) arthritic girl who has been severely
neglected. Jaz has some trouble getting around due to the arthritis in her
back but would be a great companion for an older couple who wants a friend
who is content to curl up at their feet and doesn't need a lot of exercise.
I have started her on a variety of herbs and glucosamine plus msm to try a
natural route to making her feel better. It has worked and she even plays with
a ball sometimes! Mostly she likes to snuggle and lie in the sun.
Shae - Adopted!
Shae is just over a year old and she get along great with other dogs and cats. She is shy and cautious when meeting new people, especially men, but warms up pretty quickly.

Cleo - Adopted!
Hey there, Hi there, Ho there! My name is CLEO and I am just a baby girl looking for a new forever home. I live with a foster brother and sister and I can sure tell you, I give them a run for their money. I love to play tug with my foster brother who is 10 times my size and weight. He is very gentle with me though, and even lets me chew on his face sometimes! I would love an active home who has another dog for me to play with
Tiny - Adopted!
Tiny is my name and playing is my game. Ok, well, I guess I am not soo "tiny", but I am all heart and will do whatever you ask of me. I am still learning the basic manners - but I have mastered the doggie door and have learned to go into my kennel without a struggle! As you can probably tell from my photos, my eyes are causing me quite a bit of discomfort. I have entropian and will be having surgery to fix it next week. I live in a foster home with two doggie foster sisters and a doggie foster brother. My foster mommy has kids over sometimes and I love playing with them
Jeter - Adopted!
Jeter is an 11mo old male that needed our assistance. He is total puppy, has
very few manners at this point and is quite nervous when first meeting new people.
We know he has been hit quite a bit, based on the information that was given
to us by someone
who knew the man that dumped him. He is also a bit "mouthy" and likes
to jump up for face washings
Roxy - Adopted!
Roxy comes to us from the Pound where she was going to be euthanized because
she developed Kennel Cough, like many dogs there. She was found as a stray
and was just skin and bones. Another nice rescue person snatched her from death
and called us to see if we could help. After getting a little weight on and
some ticks off, we were able to place her into a foster home where she will
continue to get healthy. She is approximately three years old and is the most
gentle creature. She actually "smiles" when she looks at you. She
has been around small children and other dogs and has done great. Please stay
tuned for further updates from her foster family...click here to

Sassy - Adopted!
Hi there, my name is Sassy. I am three years old and looking for a forever
home. I thought I had one, but when I got hit by a car, my family did not want
to pay for my medical bills. My family left me at a hospital all alone. I hope
that my puppies that I had are o.k. without me...
Hazel - Adopted!
Samboy - Adopted!
Please send your thoughts to our newest rescue - Samboy. He is a 4 yr old - yet
to be neutered - boy who was living with his previous family from the age of
6 weeks. They were trying to euthanize him because they did not want to spend
the money for a much needed eye surgery...click here to

Buddy - Adopted!
Buddy
is a young male, just a year old, who is ALL puppy. He has
lived in the backyard for his lifetime and has not had another
dog to play with. We introduced him to our ' ever-so-patient'
boy Toby, just to see how he would do, and Buddy was very excited
to meet a new friend. We are also told that he plays nice with
cats and kids! ...click here to

Oscar - Adopted!
Please welcome Oscar to our every growing family. He is 10 weeks old and was
going to be euthanized at the pound because he developed kennel cough
after being there for a few days. He was picked up as a stray and his
family did not come for him. As you can see from the side profile of
his photo that he was quite skinny. His shoulder blades and hip bones
were sticking out and you could count his ribs just by looking at him.
His blood work showed him to be severely anemic as well.
After just a few days, however, he is already doing so much better. He is full
of energy and the quarantine time away from my other dogs did not last long
as Oscar has to be where the action is. Please stay tuned for further updates...click here to

Buck
(Tucker) - Adopted!
Hi there....my name is Tucker and I am all puppy! I am just a yearling
who was recently neutered. As you can see from my photos, I have some problems
with my eyes. This has required extensive surgery and follow up care, but
I am getting better every day. This is where it all started......click here for

Lucky
- Apache Junction Animal Hospital Adopted! Lucky was picked up and brought to the hospital after
getting hit by a car sometime in January and they did an operation
on his back right hip and he has recovered very well. He doesn't
put too much weight on the leg, but does touch it to the ground
and loves any kind of affection ...Here are
another couple pictures of Lucky.
Abbey
- Lake Powell Humane Association - 1.5 YR Female Adopted! I have five dogs plus another foster dog all between
50 and 75lbs and she gets along well
even in a population setting. She expresses no aggression to my five cats
through the screen but has not directly interacted with any cat to my knowledge.
I have kids at my house between 9 and 13 she is very affectionate to all.
She walks well on a leash (without gentle leader)and has not demonstrated
any food/hand aggression moving bowls around during feeding or allowing
other foster to eat in close proximity. She can be a
pig though and go for an older dogs bowl at feeding without aggression
just bowls her over and digs in. This is what I know so far...Click here to

more information.Here are

Cowboy Adopted!
Hi ya’ll, my name is Cowboy. I am about 2 years old and full of love.
I did not have a great start in life, I had a crumby owner who did not
take care of me. Then everything changed! These ladies came and got me

Lucky has done miraculously well on his road to recovery! His wounds are
healing up beautifully as is his spirit. He is doing great playing with
his foster Rottie siblings and loves to be with people. He is not much
of a chewer unless it is his toys... Click here to
