I hope most of you remember Haley.
She was taken into PARR in late 2000 with her twin sister Jordan.
She was very scared and shy and was in foster care for quite a
while.
When Haley was initially brought
down from Cottonwood with her sister, she slipped her collar and
was running in my neighborhood for several days while we tried
in vain to catch her. Finally another of PARR's volunteers brought
over her sister, Jordan, and Haley came right up to us and we all
walked
in the
house together.
She lived with me for several months and then transitioned to another
foster home where she continued to thrive prior to her adoption.
Late this afternoon she was taken back by PARR.
Due to the living conditions for Haley she has resorted back
to the scared, shy girl she once was. She is afraid of her own
shadow,
has no
confidence
and
is
unsure
of
a human touch. When looking at her, all I could think of is how
much she looks like a greyhound. The pictures don't really show
how thin this poor girl has become.
Here are Haley's original photos when she came into PARR back
in December of 2000.

Here are her more recent photos that show how thin she had become. She is
putting on weight again and we will update the photos soon.
