Isabella

Isabella is approx. 3.5 years old. An angel in disguise as a City of Phoenix worker called us about her. She was found in the desert severely dehydrated, suffering from a rattlesnake bite and a terrible wound in her neck that amazingly was shaped like a chain! She spent a few days recuperating in the hospital before we realized she is also deaf (caused by the rattlesnake bite). Don't let this deter you! Isabella listens quite well with her eyes, she knows hand signals for sit, stay and down and is always happy to do anything you ask for a treat.

Isabella is living with her friend Baxter and he is teaching her as much as he can about how to act like a good dog. "Bellie" is getting better and better everyday and has loads of fun with all of the dogs she meets at the dog park. Isabella is still learning to play gently with small fluffy dogs and is friendly, but a little rough sometimes. She has finally learned how to play and really enjoys tennis balls. She is a sweet, sweet girl that is waiting for the perfect family to make her a part of their family.

She even brings the ball back!

This is what the bad people did to me. Please look how much better I've gotten in the above pictures.
