This page
is dedicated to the hundreds of rotties that die every day because there
are not enough permanent, loving homes for them all. In an attempt to
convince people to stop breeding indiscriminately, to ensure lifetime
homes for every puppy they create, we have put together this page to show
people who are NOT in rescue the awful truth of what happens to Rottweilers
in Maricopa County, AZ.
Every time
someone buys a puppy from a pet store or unethical breeder, it encourages
that person or puppy mill (where pet store puppies come from) to breed
again. As long as there are people willing to pay money for their puppies,
they will continue to breed without regard to the outcome.
This list
of dogs was taken from the Maricopa County Rabies/Animal Control (RAC)
euthanasia list during the month of September, 2000. This is only one
month's worth of rotties that are destroyed by RAC. December is usually
worse, especially during the last few days before Christmas.
Not everyone
has a happy holiday season.
